Description

Four Dionic XT90s round out our Gold Mount fleet as universal-backup batteries. Despite the name, they're 99Wh, under the 100Wh FAA threshold, with Anton Bauer's premium build, 20A peak draw rating, and 75A inrush current handling. That inrush spec matters for cameras and lights with a momentary turn-on spike (legacy ARRI tungsten heads, certain video assists). The XT90 is heavier than the NEO 9 Mini (1.76 lbs vs 1.4 lbs) but rated for a wider operating range, Anton Bauer specs them from -20°C to 60°C, which is the reason they ride along on cold-weather and high-heat shoots. They charge fine on our Core SWX Fleet Micro alongside the Core batteries (Anton Bauer publishes the official compatibility matrix), and the XT90's LCD shows runtime, cycle count, and battery health. We keep them in rotation as the always-available 99Wh option, fly carry-on, drop into any Gold Mount socket, power any device in the ecosystem.
