What we do beyond the handoff.

Every lens is cleaned and checked on a camera before checkout. PL primes are tested on the camera body you're renting.

Cameras go out built. SDI cables routed, monitor mounted, batteries charged, media formatted to the codec you'll be shooting in. Default LUTs and color profiles are loaded if you tell us what you want. We'll walk you through any quirks specific to the body: Alexa Mini LF software version, R5C dual-mode, BMPCC media, Ronin 4D LiDAR setup.

Quotes go out within one business day of inquiry. We'll confirm availability, propose alternates if something is booked, and itemize the rental clearly. Holds are good for 72 hours unless we discuss a longer window.

If something on the rental isn't working as expected, call us at (773) 225-1068. We'll troubleshoot with you by phone and work out a fix.

Pickup is in person from our space in Archer Heights, Chicago. Each item is checked out with you and walked through. Returns are scheduled by appointment so we have time to receive and check the gear properly. We don't ship.

If you're not sure what kit you need for a given look or shoot type, we can talk through it. Free for clients we've worked with. Available as a paid consult for new clients on larger productions, usually rolled into the rental if you book with us.
