Benro Mammoth TMTH44C Carbon Fiber Tripod
Friday pickup, Monday return counts as one day.
Description
Heavy-duty 4-section carbon fiber legs we pair with the Manfrotto 502A as a complete B-camera kit. The Mammoth is overkill in the best way, rated to 55 lb, which means a 6-12 lb mirrorless build sits on legs that have zero flex, zero wobble, and zero drama. 75mm bowl up top accepts the 502A or any other 75mm half-ball head. Twist locks on aluminum collars, magnesium castings at the joints, rubber feet plus included spikes. Folds to 22.5 inches and weighs 5 lb on its own, combined with the 502A head, the whole kit comes in at 8.7 lb, which makes it the system that flies easiest in our checked baggage. Center column has a ballast hook for hanging a sandbag in wind. Three 3/8 inch accessory mounts on the legs for monitor arms, audio receivers, or focus monitor. The Mammoth's capacity is wasted with the 502A on top, the head is the limiting factor, but the tradeoff is a B-camera kit that travels and a leg set ready to upgrade if a Sachtler FSB ever lands on it.
