Matthews' steel Hollywood combo stand with two risers, rising from 49.5 inches to 136 inches (11.3 feet) and rated for 90 lb. The top is a V-shaped, positive-lock junior 1-1/8 inch receiver with a spring-loaded knurled baby pin that rises out of it, so the stand takes junior-pin fixtures and 5/8 inch baby mounts alike. A Rocky Mountain leg extends independently of the other two to keep the load centered on slopes, stairs and uneven ground, and the wide 43 inch footprint with long legs adds stability with heavier heads at height. V-shaped brass brakes, stainless steel helicoil inserts and T-handles that stay captive in the castings round out a stand made from steel components rather than plastic.
