The Matthews 40 inch C-stand kit in chrome: a double-riser stand on a sliding leg base, with a 2.5 inch grip head and a 40 inch arm. It reaches 10.5 feet, collapses to about 53 inches, and is rated for 22 lb. The staggered legs let stands nest tight against each other on set, and the sliding leg moves up the column so the stand can sit on stairs, off a curb or even up on a desk or countertop. Serrated grip heads bite firmly to hold flags, nets, scrims, small reflectors and light fixtures, and the riser tops out in a knurled 5/8 inch baby pin. We have three.
