Matthews Hollywood Combo Triple Riser Stand (366165)

The Hollywood Combo is the heavy-duty stand that holds our heavy-duty lights, Nanlux Evoke 2400B, 1200B, 900C, and any future cinema fixture in that class. Rated to 68 lb, rises to 14.8 ft, weighs 32 lb on its own. Combo head means it accepts both junior 1-1/8 inch receivers (for cinema fixtures with junior pins) and a retractable 5/8 inch baby pin for lighter loads. Steel construction throughout, V-shaped brass brakes that wear in rather than wear out, stainless steel helicoil inserts that resist cross-threading, and a Rocky Mountain leg, one independently adjustable leg that handles uneven terrain (stairs, ramps, location floors). On a Fox Frame book light the Combo holds the key fixture; the C-stands hold the modifiers. Rules at full extension with a 2400B on top: minimum two 25 lb sandbags, three if outdoors or windy. The 32 lb stand weight alone is not enough counter-mass against a 42 lb fixture at 14 feet. We carry it by the column, never lean it against a wall unsandbagged, and never extend with a person standing under the riser.
