Standard 25 lb saddle sandbag in Cordura nylon with a waterproof inner liner, the ballast that keeps every loaded stand on set from becoming a tipping incident. We have eight of these and they live with the stands. Saddle design drapes over a stand leg or grip arm and hangs free; the rule is the bag must NOT rest on the floor (a bag resting on the ground transfers some of its weight to the floor, reducing how much downforce it puts on the stand). On a C-stand the bag goes over the tallest leg; on a combo stand it goes over the leg facing the light's lean direction. For heavy fixtures at full stand extension, a 2400B on a Hollywood Combo at 14 ft, we use two or three. Industrial-stitched seams, integrated carry handle, flame and stain resistant. Don't lift them by the handle over equipment (carry at hip level); kick them off the leg when you take them down (your back will thank you). Keep them off wet ground.
