Sigma MC-11 (Canon EF to Sony E-Mount)

Sigma MC-11, a Canon EF to Sony E-mount adapter with electronic contacts that pass autofocus, aperture control, and EXIF data from EF lenses to Sony bodies. Optimized for Sigma's own EF Global Vision lenses (best AF performance) and works with most Canon EF-mount lenses with reduced AF speed. We keep it for the situations where a Sony E-mount body needs a Canon EF lens, typically a guest DP shooting Sony with our Canon glass, or a B-camera with an E-mount body that needs to match the A-camera's EF lens for continuity. Important note: AF speed and tracking on a Canon lens through the MC-11 is meaningfully slower than the same lens on a native Canon body. For critical AF work, we recommend native lenses.
