Versa-Flex Saddle Sandbag (15 lb)

Lighter 15 lb saddle sandbag for our Manfrotto light stands and any C-stand holding a light load. Versa-Flex builds these with the sand sealed inside a 6mm poly bag before the cordura shell goes on, which means a punctured outer doesn't dump sand and the bag survives wet ground better than a single-shell design. 1000 denier nylon outer, double-sewn seams, made in the USA (Berry Compliant). Why we keep a 15 lb in the kit alongside the 25 lb Matthews bags: on a Manfrotto 1004BAC, the base legs are low to the ground and a 25 lb bag often partially rests on the floor. The 15 lb bag with its lighter geometry hangs free, putting all of its weight to work as ballast. Use the 15 lb for light stands with fixtures under 10 lb. Use the 25 lb for everything else. Never use a single 15 lb on a combo stand with a heavy cinema fixture.
