Fujinon MK-R 18-55mm T2.9

The Fujinon MK-R is our wide-to-normal cine zoom in Canon RF mount, Super 35 coverage, constant T2.9 with zero ramping, parfocal, and genuinely lightweight at 1.0 kg. It's the run-and-gun and gimbal companion zoom: where the Tokina 25-75 is heavy and built for dolly work, the Fujinon MK is light enough to handhold all day and balance on a gimbal without strain. RF mount native means it pairs directly with the RED Komodo without an adapter, and through our adapters it runs on the R5C and R8 too. A built-in back-focus adjustment knob on the barrel is the feature that sets it apart from most cine zooms, calibrate flange distance per camera body, in the field, with no service trip. Sharp wide open at T2.9 corner-to-corner with the Fujinon warm color signature (warmer than Canon, much warmer than Zeiss). The 200-degree focus throw is shorter than the Tokina's 300, easier for single-operator hand pulls, still long enough for follow focus precision. Has a true macro mode override switch, which the Tokina doesn't.
