Tiffen Filter Kit (82mm)

Tiffen filter kit, 82mm, a screw-in filter set covering the diffusion and color-grading needs that sit alongside ND. Specific contents vary by kit, but typically includes Black Pro-Mist (1/4 or 1/2 strength) for highlight bloom and skin tone softening, a Glimmerglass for subtle mood, and a polarizer for cutting reflections off glass and water. Tiffen's optical quality is the industry standard for these effect filters, the diffusion is smooth, the color rendering is neutral. 82mm thread matches our PolarPro VNDs, so step-up rings live in the same kit. We use the diffusion filters for narrative interview work where a touch of softness changes the read of skin tones; the polarizer comes out anytime there's a window or a body of water in the frame.
