Canon EF 135mm f/2L USM
Classic 135mm L portrait look, sharp and separated, with the kind of compression that makes any subject look more cinematic.
Friday pickup, Monday return counts as one day.
Description
The Canon 135mm f/2L is the long-prime workhorse for portrait and narrative work, a 1996 optical design that's still considered one of the cleanest, fastest medium-telephotos Canon ever shipped. Two UD elements, ring USM, internal focusing. On full-frame and large-format sensors, 135mm at f/2 produces compression and separation that's hard to get any other way. We rent it for narrative singles, music video portraits, beauty work, interview close-ups where the camera needs to be physically far from the subject. No IS, pair it with a body that has IBIS (the LUMIX S1II) or use a tripod / gimbal. 72mm filter, 750g. EF mount runs natively on R5C, R8, BMPCC 6K Pro; on the Alexa via the LBUS EF mount.
