Description
The Canon EF 2x III Extender is a teleconverter, slot it between an EF telephoto and the camera body to double the focal length at the cost of two stops of light. On our 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II it becomes a 140-400mm f/5.6, on the 100mm Macro it becomes a 200mm f/5.6 with macro capability, on the 70-300L it becomes 140-600mm f/8-11. Compatible with most of our EF L-series glass, with autofocus retained on bodies that can AF at f/5.6 or f/8 (the R5C handles both well). Rents as an add-on rather than a primary item, usually paired with a long zoom for projects that need extra reach without the budget for a 600mm prime.
