Deity S-Mic 2S

A compact short shotgun with a self-noise spec on paper lower than either Sennheiser (12 dB-A), true condenser, super-cardioid, 130 dB SPL, 22 mV/Pa sensitivity. Wider phantom range than the Sennheisers (24-48V), which means it'll work with cheaper recorders that don't deliver full 48V. The shortest of our three shotguns at 232mm and the lightest at 122g. Ships with its own custom Rycote Softie windshield (we list it as a separate inventory line). We rent it as a B-shotgun or on shoots where weight matters, drone-mounted boom rigs, quick documentary, or as the third mic on a multi-cam interview where every channel needs its own shotgun.
