TASCAM CA-XLR2D-C (Canon XLR Adapter)

TASCAM's XLR adapter for the Canon Cinema EOS line, adds two locking XLR inputs with switchable phantom power to the R5C, R8, and other compatible Canon mirrorless. Mounts to the camera hot shoe, outputs to the camera's audio input. We pair it with our Sennheiser MKH 416 or MKE 600 shotgun on a boom for run-and-gun documentary or interview work where the camera needs to be self-contained. Also accepts a TRS combo input on each channel for line-level sources. Camera audio control happens through the adapter's physical knobs rather than the camera menu, which is faster on set.
