Panasonic DMW-XLR2 (XLR Adapter)

Panasonic's first-party XLR adapter for the LUMIX S1II and other compatible LUMIX S series bodies. Two locking XLR inputs with phantom power, hot-shoe mounted, native communication with the camera through the multi-interface shoe. Tighter integration than third-party adapters, input gain, phantom power, and channel routing all surface in the camera menu and HUD. We use it when an S1II is the A or B camera and self-contained pro audio matters: documentary single-camera, interview work where a separate recorder isn't justified, or any scenario where the lavalier or shotgun needs to land in the camera file.
