Rode Wireless PRO (WIPRO)

Rode's flagship 2.4 GHz wireless lavalier system, two transmitters, one receiver, a Charging Case PRO, and two Lavalier II mics in the kit. The features that earn the rental: 32-bit float on-board recording on each TX (a recording that cannot clip, regardless of what the talent does), embedded SMPTE timecode, and 128-bit AES encryption over Series IV digital. Range is 260m line-of-sight. The two transmitters can run as Merged (both to one channel), Split (TX1 left / TX2 right), or Safety (merged plus a -10 dB backup). The on-board recording is the safety net we never had with first-generation wireless lavs, even if the wireless link drops mid-take, you have a clean file from the body of the talent. Re-jam timecode every ~4 hours for full accuracy. Premiere/FCP don't natively read the LTC, Tentacle Sync Studio or DaVinci Resolve handle the merge.
