Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG OS EF

The Sigma 150-600 is our long-reach zoom, 600mm at the long end is what you rent when a subject is too far for the 70-200 to reach. Wildlife, sports, distant environmental shots, surveillance-style framing, anywhere you need the camera to see what the eye can't. f/5-6.3 is slow enough that you'll want light and a tripod or monopod, but the IS performs well and the optics are sharp enough at f/8 across the frame. We rent it through an EF-to-RF adapter on the R5C, where AF tracking turns it into a usable wildlife and sports rig, and on the Alexa Mini LF via the LBUS EF mount for narrative long-lens establishing shots. 95mm filter. Tripod collar built in.
