Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM EF
f/1.8 wide-to-normal zoom for S35 sensors, the lens that lets you cover most of a scene without changing primes.
Friday pickup, Monday return counts as one day.
Description
The Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 is the lens that broke the rules when it shipped, the first APS-C / Super 35 zoom with a constant f/1.8 aperture. On a Super 35 sensor (RED Komodo, BMPCC 6K Pro, S35 modes on the Alexa Mini LF), 18-35mm at f/1.8 covers the most-used wide-to-normal range with the kind of low-light capability that previously required prime lenses. Sharp wide open, parfocal-adjacent (some focus shift during zoom), and 0.8m close focus throughout. We rent it for run-and-gun S35 work, music video coverage where lens swaps cost time, and dialogue scenes where the f/1.8 aperture matters. EF mount; ours stays on EF and runs through adapters. Crops on full-frame, APS-C / S35 only.
