Sigma 24mm f/2 DG DN | Contemporary
Compact, all-metal Sigma rendering at f/2, sharp wide open, with the kind of build that feels closer to cine glass than most stills primes.
Friday pickup, Monday return counts as one day.
Description
The 24mm in our Sigma I-Series prime set, wide environmental coverage in a 365g all-metal package. Full-frame coverage with a 13-element optical formula (1 FLD, 2 SLD, 2 aspherical) and the I-Series build standard: precision-cut aluminum barrel, knurled metal manual aperture ring with click stops, magnetic metal lens cap, stepping-motor AF that's near-silent. Available in L-Mount (for the LUMIX S1II and the DJI Ronin 4D via L-Mount adapter) and Sony E-Mount. The build quality genuinely exceeds most Art series glass, it's closer to cine glass in feel than most stills primes. We rent it as the standard wide for our mirrorless kit when a clean, modern wide angle at f/2 is the right tool. 62mm filter, 24.5cm close focus. The aperture ring has click stops only, there's no de-click switch, which is the I-Series limitation for video aperture pulls.
