Sigma 50mm f/2 DG DN | Contemporary
Half the weight of most f/1.4 50mm primes, the right pick when you're balancing on a Ronin 4D and the f/2 stop is plenty.
Friday pickup, Monday return counts as one day.
Description
The 50mm I-Series prime, about half the weight of most f/1.4 50mm primes, the all-metal build, and image quality that doesn't compromise to hit the smaller body. We rent it on the LUMIX S1II for narrative interviews, on the Ronin 4D for gimbal work where weight matters. Part of the Sigma I-Series Contemporary line, compact, all-metal, mirrorless-native primes with manual aperture rings, magnetic metal lens caps, and the kind of build quality that exceeds most Art series glass. Designed around the smaller bodies of mirrorless cameras (LUMIX S1II, Sony E-mount bodies, DJI Ronin 4D's L-Mount adapter) without sacrificing full-frame coverage. Stepping-motor AF is near-silent, focus is by-wire. L-Mount only in our kit.
