TASCAM's compact 32-bit float field recorder with built-in timecode generator, designed for camera-top or bag use as a hybrid recorder + TC reference. Records 32-bit float WAV (no clipping, full dynamic-range capture in post) and embeds SMPTE LTC. Smaller and simpler than our MixPre-6 II, fewer channels, lighter footprint, faster to deploy. We rent it as a backup recorder, as a camera-top reference unit when the MixPre is committed elsewhere, or for solo shooters who need pro audio without a full bag rig.
