Description
Sennheiser's in-line preamp and power supply for pre-polarized condenser mics that use a locking 3.5mm jack, the connector on Sennheiser's evolution wireless lavs and headsets. It draws 12V to 48V phantom power from a mixer, recorder or camera, powers the capsule, and outputs a balanced signal on a standard XLR-3 male. That lets a lav like the ME 2 or MKE 2 plug straight into a wired XLR input, useful as a hardwired backup or anywhere a wireless channel isn't needed. It has a switchable 0 or -12 dB gain setting and a switchable 125 Hz roll-off filter, and an attached belt clip keeps it secure. We have two.
