ARRI Alexa Mini LF

The Alexa Mini LF is the camera most modern premium content gets shot on, and the reason is simple: ARRI's color science is the standard everything else gets measured against. Skin tones land warm and dimensional out of the box. Highlights roll off gently, windows behind a subject glow rather than clip. Shadows hold detail four or five stops under without falling apart. The look has a weight to it that reads as film more than digital, and it doesn't take much grading to get there. We rent the Mini LF for narrative work, high-end commercials, music videos, prestige interviews, anything where the image itself is part of the pitch. The body is a 4.5K large-format ALEV III sensor in a carbon-fiber package small enough for Steadicam and gimbal. Native LPL mount with our LPL-to-PL adapter (for the Sigma cine primes and Tokina 25-75) and ARRI's LBUS EF mount (for the Canon L glass). 14+ stops of dynamic range, dual native ISO 800/3200, internal motorized FSND filters at 0.6/1.2/1.8, and 12V/24V accessory power for monitors and motors. ARRIRAW and ProRes record to Codex Compact Drives, every format is unlocked, no license keys, no surprises. Two things to flag at checkout: media is Codex-only (not CFast, not SD), and ProRes wraps as MXF, DaVinci, Premiere, and VLC handle it natively, QuickTime does not.
